Ideas for Eating,Cutting,Cooking and Keeping:

We recommend that you wash your produce before eating it. Technically, we only “field-rinse” the produce. It is not legal for us to wash produce.

I will not tell you how to store or what to do with your basket I will only hope you enjoyed it and figured out what everything was?

It was the perfect week for salsa. The real green smoothie eaters had kale and chard.

We have a recipe exchange on our site. https://www.redacrefarmcsa.org/recipes/. If you have a great recipe, have a new idea or way to use something in your basket please share it.

Besides what is in your basket,

We/I attempt to have this in your basket and or emailed to you by the night of share day or sometimes the morning after .However last week our first week of the season was joyfully crazy. Not even knowing who or how many of you there would be I did not do the Weekly Weed until now.
We decided to do a winter share back in August as that is when you have to plant and we did. However I think I had to see it to believe it.The green houses are now full of beautiful luscious food.I waited until our last share day to commit to a winter harvest and allowed our current shareholders first opportunity then waited one more week just a week before the first share day to tell the world. Thank you for all your support we were full in less then 72 hours! We were concerned we could not fill our shares and decided to offer a St George and Sprindale Deilivery. Are we crazy? Yes!
One amazing women at Dixie college signed up enough share holders for us to make it worthwhile and is a host site for pick up. So for those returning share holders this news letter might sound a little different as I am writing to 2 groups one of which will not be coming to the farm.
