About the Event
Terroir is a French term that simply means "a sense of place.
Terroir is how a particular region's climate, soils, and terrain affect the taste of wine. Some regions are said to have more 'terroir' than others. Just as the wine you are drinking tastes of the region or "terroir" where it was grown and made so should your food.
Join us for a unique dining experience under the open sky. The dinner will include wine from Utah wineries.
There will be appetizers before we gather for a farm tour. Then, a sit-down dinner will be served family-style (or farm-style). Discussion and questions from the guests will be encouraged. Farmer and chef Sara Patterson will create the menu with ingredients dictated by what we freshly harvest from Red Acre Farm. Other components will be sourced from artisan producers, local farms, gardens, and ranches in keeping with our focus on exhibiting the terroir. The menu will include vegetarian options, and grass-fed meat dishes. The dinner will be spontaneous and of the season. A menu will be on the table that evening.
Price includes tax and gratuity.
