The Farm Loves

Visitors

You are welcome to visit the farm without signing up for a tour... and no admission fee ever!

Roam the farm, see what is growing, and say hello to our goats, the milk cow Lu, or the llama Lucy. They love to have their backs rubbed and their ears scratched over the fence. Virginia, the pig, always loves attention. There are plenty of chickens, a guinea hen, a few ducks, and a pair of geese around too.

During these times, we feel that with our open spaces, fresh air, the animals, and food growing, the farm is a wonderful place to be. Every season offers something new on the farm, and we invite you to visit often to feed your body and your soul. The farm is here for you!

It's always appreciated when you pop into the Farm Stand and purchase some farm goodies.

Farm Tours

The work keeps us hopping, so if you would like to ask questions, learn about the farm, or have our farmer's full attention, we suggest you join us for a farm tour!

Offered once or twice a month, tours are led by the dynamic mother-daughter farmers, Sara and Symbria. These tours promise to be amusing, perhaps enjoyable, and hopefully, you will leave with new ideas and a better understanding and appreciation of small, diversified urban farms.

Lasting 60-90 minutes, tours are limited to the first 20 people (an adult must accompany children) who sign up.

For Schools, homeschoolers,  groups, or educational tours please contact

Red Acre Center.
